Pickleball
What is Pickleball?
One of the fastest-growing sports in the nation, pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Can be played as singles or doubles.
Pickleball Courts
If the nets are set up for play, courts are open! Temporary courts are currently set up inside "The Rink" at Brookside Park and 2 brand new pickleball courts have been installed at Green Forest Park.
All courts are available on a first come, first served basis. Participants must bring their own equipment.
