The Township Engineering Department, headed by the Township Engineer, is responsible for:
- Inspection of all site improvements associated with private land development projects approved by the Township’s Land Use Boards for compliance with specifications and conditions
- Calculation of performance and maintenance bonds, and bond releases, for private land development projects
- Design, preparation of plans and specifications, and inspection of various public improvements including road reconstruction and sewer projects
- Preparation of grant applications for Township road projects
- Maintaining file of Township maps including subdivisions, roads and sewers
- Updating the Township’s Tax Maps.
Copies of most maps cost between $5-8 depending on the size. FEMA Flood Plain maps in the Engineering Department Office are for viewing purposes only - copies are not available for distribution at this time.
