Scotch Plains Stands with Ukraine | Community Support Drives

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has uprooted families, injured citizens, and left thousands of Ukrainian refugees without access to basic necessities. To date, nearly 1.5 million Ukrainians have fled their homes, many leaving behind necessary supplies.

To support individuals in need, the Union County Board of County Commissioners and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office have partnered to organize a county-wide donation drive for the people of Ukraine.

In response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Rotary Club has set up a collection drive to support Ukrainian refugees who have fled to surrounding countries.

The Rotary club will donate $1,000 to Shelterbox, a disaster response organization who will provide temporary transitional housing and other essential supplies. For each $1,000 they receive in donations, a donation will be made to Shelterbox.
