As required by state law, the Township Council on January 21, 2025, passed a resolution committing the Township of Scotch Plains to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Fourth Round Affordable Housing Present Need and Prospective Need Numbers as Modified pursuant to P.L. 2024, c. 2 and Fair Housing Act, N.J.SA 52:27D-302.
