Do Not Put Car Batteries in Your Recycling

Over the last week of recycling pickups, another potential tragedy has been averted because of a fire caused by improper recycling of batteries.

As a reminder to our residents, please DO NOT recycle batteries in single stream curbside collection as it may cause significant damage to the recycling facility and/or trucks during processing.
