Scotch Plains Under a Winter Storm Warning as of Friday, January 28
Here is the latest Briefing package from the National Weather Service Mount Holly Office.
Three things to know:
1. We are now under a Winter Storm Warning for snow accumulations of 4-7 inches.
2. We will have winds at times sustained to 30 mph, which will cause white out conditions, Please plan on not traveling through most of the day Saturday.
3. All kidding aside, there may and most likely will be changes in the forecast. At this time, what was expected to happen to create this storm is happening.
Now, is the time to make sure you have gas in your cars and for your snowblower and if you have a generator, it would be prudent to make sure it is prepared to run, if necessary.
