Branch Pick-up is Underway. Please Put Out Your Branches Now.
Here's what you need to know:
- Scotch Plains conducts one spring and one fall brush & limb collection each year.
- The crews make one pass through town. Residents are asked to place all leaves, gumballs and branches in separate piles, leaving a small gully before the curb for pickup.
- Branches need to be cut to no longer than 6’ in length and 2” in diameter.
- No logs or stumps will be taken.
- Crews will be on both the North and South sides of town simultaneously.
- Township ordinance prohibits putting vegetative waste at the curb unless a pick-up is scheduled.
Please note: Leaf collection will begin in late October.
