The latest public hearings related to a Green Brook flood control study are scheduled for Jan. 9 and Jan. 11. The Jan. 9 meeting is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. at the North Plainfield/Vermeule Community Center, 614 Greenbrook Road, North Plainfield. The Jan. 11 meeting is set for 7-9 p.m. at the Plainfield Performing Arts Center, 724 Park Ave, Plainfield. The events are coordinated through the Army Corps of Engineers.
