Scotch Plains Expresses Appreciation to Departing Members of the Veterans Advisory Board

Township officials presented Certificates of Appreciation to three members of the Veterans Advisory Board who will be leaving at the end of the year - Elaine Coupe, Joseph Diacheysn and U.S. Army Capt. Jeff Noonan.

Noonan is scheduled to be deployed in January to the Middle East.

Mayor Josh Losardo expressed his thanks for the advisory board members, while also noting that this Saturday, December 16, is the township's dedication of the remaining 10 Gold-Star Families - Fallen Heroes Street Signs.  These Scotch Plains veterans, who served during World War II and Korean, will be honored at the Wreaths Across America ceremony beginning at noon at the Scotch Plains Baptist Church, 333 Park Ave.
