Township of Scotch Plains Announces Curbside Recycling Changes for 2023
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – March 9, 2023 – The Township of Scotch Plains has contracted with Grand Sanitation Services to provide curbside recycling. Services will change to a biweekly basis and residents are advised that there are now collection zones for each side of town.
What’s Changing

To report any issues with your collection/service, it is best to reach out to Grand directly. - Collection Zones: Grand Sanitation will utilize ten collection zones, 5 on the north side and 5 on the south side. A complete zone listing by street can be found on our recycling page.
- Collection Schedule: Residents are encouraged to view the updated schedule to avoid missing a pickup. Curbside collection begins on the South Side on March 13 and will continue through March 17. The North Side begins on March 20 and will continue through the March 24.

WHAT'S NOT CHANGING
- Acceptable Materials and Guidelines: There are no changes to what can be placed curbside.
