Township Officials Welcome Alta Pediatrics to Scotch Plains
Alta Pediatrics, at 1801 E. 2nd St., celebrated a grand opening on Wednesday afternoon as township officials welcomed Scotch Plains' newest business to the downtown.
The pediatric practice is led by Kimberly Hurley, with a lifelong passion for helping people and has a background as special education teacher and a hippotherapy assistant. Inspired to give back to the community, she started her own therapy-based business, providing occupational therapy services in the home and community environment.
Alta Pediatrics is a pediatric clinic that specializes in occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy and autism treatment from infants to young adults up to 21 years old.
The pediatric therapy provider operates on three main principles - developing skills, enriching abilities, and improving behavior through one-on-one assistance with highly-skilled therapists.
