Continuing an annual holiday tradition, Wreaths Across America made its return to the Scotch Plains on Saturday afternoon as township officials and volunteers came out to honor the 92 veterans, who are interred in Scotch Plains Baptist Church Cemetery dating back to the Revolutionary War.
It marked the sixth consecutive year that the Wreaths Across America ceremony was held at the Scotch Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
This year featured tributes in the Memorial Garden to several Scotch Plains veterans who were buried elsewhere, including Thomas P. Reilly, a prisoner of war.
