Leaf Pickup Schedule for Week of January 3
Residents may begin to put their leaves out 10 days prior to their scheduled leaf pickup.
Here is the collection schedule for the Week of January 3:
Northside
Evergreen School Area, Westfield Rd. Circle and Portland Ave./Church St. Area from Westfield Rd. to Forest Rd.
Southside
McGinn School Area, Sterling Chase Development, North Gate Rd., Pitching Way, Stony Brook Circle and Peach Court.
* The final deadline for residents to put out all leaves was December 20.
This collection is for leaves only; crews will be dispatched townwide. At least three collection cycles should give residents adequate time to place all leaves at the curb.
Biodegradable paper bags are acceptable. Please keep as many cars off the road as possible. It is very important that leaves are free of branches, rocks, stumps, etc., to prevent equipment damage.
Please NO BRANCHES or LIMBS -- they will not be collected.
Also, please remember to leave space along the curbline for water to flow freely to the catch basins.
Weather permitting, sweepers will be operating after the last cycle.
