Scotch Plains Celebrates Champion Volleyball Team

The Township Council is lauding a tremendous year for the boy’s volleyball team at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, which finished this year with a 24-1 record and was once again crowned 2021 Union County Champions.

The team, which launched just five years ago, is now the three-time consecutive defending Union County Champions. This season, with just two remaining players, the team reached the State Sectional Semi-Finalists and also had an undefeated regular season.

Congratulations to Head Coach Brock Hor and Assistant Coach Matt Ritter, as well as the entire team. That includes: Zach Chung, Tim Ennis, David Farin, Aidan Heifetz, Amir Johnson, Eamonn McGovern, Anthony Ngumah, Nick Rayan, Brodie Robertson, Nicholas Schmidt, Dan Sicinski, Nathaniel Sta Rosa and Jeremy Zimmerman.
