The NWS (National Weather Service) has issued a Heat advisory for our area effective 11:00am 9/5/2023 through 8:00pm 9/6/2023.

The Scotch Plains Library is open today 9/5/2023 9:30am - 5:00pm and will be open Wednesday 9/6/2023 and 9/7/2023 9:30am - 9:00pm the A/C is working and you can find a good book or a DVD to read inside and avoid the dangerous heat.

The Scotch Plains Municipal Building Courtroom will be available as a cooling station today until 4:00pm and again Thursday 8:30am through 5:30pm The Courtroom will not be available Wednesday September 6, 2023 due to Court being in session
