JOB OPPORTUNITY - ACCOUNT CLERK

Full-time position - 32.5 hours per week - M-F 8:30 am – 4 pm under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and Tax Collector. Duties include but not limited to processing requisitions and creating purchase orders, maintaining accounts and contracts, communicating, and providing support for Finance Department and Tax Office, preparing deposits, accepting tax payments, daily cash receipting, creating bills lists, maintaining vendor list opening, reviewing, and sorting mail. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and a good communicator.  Knowledge of Excel, First Byte, and Municipal Software a plus.
