Refund Policy
We understand that schedules can change and we aim to make our refund process as simple and fair as possible.
Refunds for Recreation Department programs may be available under specific conditions as long as requests are submitted in writing within the designated time frame. All program flyers list a registration close date. In addition to the flyer, the registration close date is advertised on Community Pass during registration and is included on registration receipts. Refunds will not be provided after the registration close date.
Please review the full policy details to ensure eligibility prior to submitting a Refund Request Form:
- All refund requests must be submitted to the Recreation Department, in writing, via the Refund Request Form
- If you register for a program and request a refund prior to the advertised registration close date, a full refund will be provided
- If the Recreation Department cancels a program or changes the location/timing of the program and you can no longer participate, you will be entitled to a full refund or a full credit on you Community Pass account
- Refunds are processed by Purchase Order so may take between 6-8 weeks to process as they are linked to the Township billing cycle
- If a refund request is submitted after the registration close date, you may be entitled to a credit on your Community Pass account to be used toward a future program of your choice, as long as your withdrawal does not impact the program - this decision is subject to the discretion of the Recreation Director and/or Recreation Commission
